GRAND MARSHAL ROAST

St. Augustin's Church Hall, 5 Harrison Avenue, Newport, RI 02840

The roast is honoring this years Grand Marshal, Kiki Finn. The event will begin at 1:30pm and end when all roasting is completed. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. For advanced tickets call 846-5081. The roast includes a lunch with refreshments.

This year’s winner is IHOP Restaurant in Middletown, RI owned by Karen and Bill Cardinal.

This is a free event. Hors d'oeuvres will be served. Entertainment will include bagpipe music and other entertainment.

Special guests include Big Daddy Award winners Bill and Karen Cardinal.

11:00 am Start @ Newport City Hall on Broadway finishing at Carroll Avenue at Saint Augustin’s Church in the heart of the Fifth Ward. Two hours.

4th ANNUAL SAINT PATRICK’S DAY FAMILY CELEBRATION

March 14, 2009

1:00pm to 4:30pm, Location to be Announced, Newport, RI 02840

This event is a non- alcohol event. There will be entertainment with; Bag Pipers, clowns, a Fife & Drum Corps, Irish step dancers, and more. There will be a “How Green AM I” contest with cash prizes and an "Irish Dog Breeds" contest with cash prizes as well as an “All Dogs are Irish on Saint Patrick’s Day" contest with cash prizes. There will also be giveaways. Carousel rides will be available. Admission to the event is free as is parking. Food will be available to purchase.
